Girls Gone Wild at Slippery Rock

This past Saturday Girls Gone Wild was supposed to be at Ginger Hill in Slippery Rock. It was cancelled due to a feminist protest. I am neutral about it and did not know if I would end up attending Ginger Hill or not but I do not think it should have been cancelled. I think if you do not want to be apart of it just do not go or make yourself apart of it in any way. Why do you have to cancel the event just because a certain amount of people are against it. How about the people that did want to go and have a good time. I am writing this blog to see how many people were for Girls Gone Wild in Slippery Rock and how many were against it. Let me know your final thoughts on the issue?

  1. Well i think that it shouldn't have been cancelled. I read the article in the newspaper and it sounded like people just need to mind their own business. If you don't want to be around that event, then don't go to Ginger Hill, its that simple. A couple of upset protesters ruined a night of fun for several people, which to me isn't fair. If people want to get drunk and get a little crazy, its no one elses business but their own.
